TextUs is a leading real-time SMS communication platform, revolutionizing how businesses engage with their customers through optimized engagement to maximize conversion.

As a Product Designer at TextUs since 2021, I have played a pivotal role in maturing the UX team, innovating the product roadmap, and delivering high-quality designs.

My end-to-end process at TextUs focuses on desirable, usable, and functional user experiences that drive adoption and support revenue. I work closely with product managers and engineers to maintain UX integrity through conception, iteration, and design spec delivery.

My favorite TextUs project has been Sequences. It was the most challenging release, where I took a groundbreaking concept from 0-to-1. Our company’s main reason for churn at the time (lack of automation) dropped by over 40% after launch.

Solving the company’s automation vision

Led the end-to-end design strategy for a new drip automation messaging experience focused on sellers, marketers, and recruiters to help increase buyer engagement and pipeline. The challenges ranged from timeline, minimum viability, scalability, and churn.

Unifying the platform into one code base

In charge of refactoring TextUs to be responsive and accessible across all breakpoints, collaborating closely with engineering teams. This was a two-part project: consolidating the code from the Web App into the Chrome Extension, while modernizing the entire platform’s UI styles.

Impactful projects include a transition to Figma, a custom design system, a file/handoff structure, a JTBD persona framework, and a research wall. I also co-led redesigns for analytics, contacts, campaigns, keywords, notifications, integrations, and AI initiatives.
